I only gave this place 3 stars, because, although it's a great place to visit. It would of been nice to have more staff showing and telling. Especially with it being one of the very few museums that has an entry fee. £12

Lots of different exhibits, interesting and fun for both the grownups and the 5yr old. The Horrible Histories Pirates zone was the biggest hit.

The ship is beautiful and the access to everything is so interesting, the staff were all knowledgeable about her and I learned a lot. The museum as a National museum of the Royal Navy could have had a lot more given the North East shipbuilding past. Static exhibitions very good, but be prepared for a lot of reading as they are just that static. Did I have a great time? YES, Did I learn a lot about the ship, seafaring and Hartlepool? YES Would I go again? YES

A very well maintained and beautiful piece of maritime history, well planned and thought out. You can tour the whole place in about 2 hours, definitely a one time visit. Tickets are slightly expensive tho

Can't praise this place enough, seeing the graceful masts towering above the buildings as we pulled up in the car park was a stunning view, walking in and seeing the whole beauty of the ship was amazing. Boarding the ship and walking down into it's historical depth was very imotional I could feel it's history. Need to come back to see more of the fantastic museum ect. The cafe was really nice, good food, all in all a fantastic day, well done everyone
